Hi. I would like to find those who were in my unit when I was there. I was 2/7 cav  1st air cav  co.c stationed in the A-Shau Valley, helicopter transported unit doing search and destroy
missions on the ground in 1968. I was a medic.

Would you (or anyone else) have any info regarding the battle at LZ Terry Lynn on April 5th, 1967?  If not, could you direct me to other sources?

I was in Charlie Co, 2/7 for a brief time from 11/70 to 3/71 having come from another unit.  Remember reporting to Phuoc Vinh for assignment to the Cav.  During my time in the company I
remember carrying the radio.  Can't remember which platoon. Capt Martinez was the CO. Anyone that was with the company at that time can contact me.  Tempe, AZ

My name is Ken Campbell.  I was in the third platoon with Staff Sergeant Joseph Erny from July 69 to January 70. I know that Sergeant Erny's guidance and actions saved my life during
a 69 ambush (maybe September).  I would like to hear from anyone who remembers me.  Great website! Thanks to Captain Brinker for approving my transfer to the 228 Aviation Battalion,
placing me as a doorgunner and getting me out of the field.  Thanks to all the guys for voting for me to attend the Bob Hope show.  The Golddiggers were a sight for sore eyes!   Bob Derose,

Dear Sir, I recently saw my name on the internet at your web site forCharlie Company. Made my day. I saw also in the rostor that my name was listed but labled as not heard from or no
picture. I am going to attach a picture with this e-mail and if possible would like onthe 2nd platoons roster. I served with the First Calvary in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971. This picture was
taken after the unit moved from Tay Ninh province to Bien Hoa a month or so after the Cambodia invasion. The Fire Support Base was named Garyowen. We were in forsecurity at the time.
Thanks
