The photos displayed below are extracts of a mural painted by Kaylon Smith. Kaylon is a Cadet at the United States Air Force Academy.
She is also the granddaughter of William McCray, who served in Vietnam from 69'-70', in Charlie Company 2/7 1st Cavalry Division.
Cadet Smith painted the mural in honor of her grandfather and his close friends in his platoon. The mural is proudly displayed in
Kaylon's squadron’s hallway. Kaylon thought other members of Charlie Company, and those of her grandfather's platoon might enjoy
seeing her mural.
